I have an open request to all of Oppo (at least those in the US and maybe Canada), I need you to take detailed pictures of the graphics on a Tacoma SST if you spot one of these in the wild! The designs apparently vary depending on if you find them on a ‘99-‘00 versus an ‘01-’03 truck. SST Tacomas are also distinguishable by their unique wheels that no other Tacoma came with. ‘99-‘00 have split 3-spokes and later trucks have 5-spoke allow wheels, both of them are 5-lugs. This was a special appearance package by Southeast Toyota Distributors out of Jacksonville, FL and is not an official edition by Toyota.
Why the odd request? I recently confirmed my suspicion that the 2000 Tacoma I bought from my company for cheap in Feburary is indeed a SST, I found the paperwork from when it was bought new calling for the graphics to be deleted. I want to get those graphics back but there’s little to no high-quality pictures to work off of. I need material to send to a graphics artist and/or a vinyl shop so I can have them remade!
Here’s what the ‘99-‘00 SST looks like:
And here’s what the ‘01-’03 SST looks like:
This one is weird, it’s an early Tacoma but it has the later decals:
Another oddball, this is a 2003 but the “SST” font looks completely different. Maybe they ran out of the “SST” graphic and quickly made up a design on the fly for cheap? Maybe the owner made their own?
If you find one of these in the wild, please take pictures of the graphics! I’ll need as much material as possible to reconstruct either of the two known SST designs! Thanks y’all!

I’ll keep my eyes out but the only SSTs I see regularly are lame, standard crossword puzzle answers.

They’re still in play in central Florida, I’ve seen a few around. I might search for 99/2000 Tacos in Jacksonville/Orlando/Tampa and see what comes up.

I vote for the 01-03 graphics irrespective of the year of y0ur truck. It is the best 90s.

It wouldn’t surprise me if someone imported one of these that far down South! I’ve only seen this in the Deep South with maybe one or two in other states. It’s been about 20 years since they came out so that’s more than enough time to spread across the Americas!
